This policy explains how topics are chosen, what is reviewed and how the publication handles uncertainty, corrections and commercial relationships.
Topic selection and search intent
We select questions that help creators make a specific marketing, retention or operating decision. Before a new article is written, it receives one primary search intent and a defined boundary from existing pages. This reduces repetition and keeps platform-specific guides narrower than the site’s pillar articles.
Research and evidence
Stable strategic recommendations are explained from first principles and clearly presented as editorial guidance. Claims about platform rules, available features, pricing limits or safety requirements are checked against primary sources whenever they are available. Independent research may be used when it adds context and its limitations can be explained.
We do not borrow competitors’ benchmark numbers simply because they appear repeatedly in search results. When reliable public data does not exist, the article shows readers how to establish and compare their own baseline.
Authorship and review
Articles are produced under the How to Connect Editorial Team byline. The team is an organizational byline, not a fictional individual. Each published article displays its reviewed date and is checked for clarity, unsupported claims, internal-link relevance and consistency with this policy.
Platform changes
Social-platform policies and creator tools can change without notice. Policy-sensitive guides are reviewed before publication and scheduled for regular rechecks. Readers should still confirm current rules inside the relevant platform before acting, especially when account access, adult-content promotion or payment terms are involved.
Corrections and material updates
A factual error is corrected as soon as it is confirmed. A material change to the advice, scope or platform information results in a new reviewed date. Small spelling or layout corrections do not change that date. We do not silently rewrite a page to preserve an outdated claim.
Commercial independence
The initial publication phase contains no commercial links to a management provider. If sponsorships, affiliate links or a business relationship are introduced later, the relationship will be disclosed on the relevant page. Commercial involvement will not be presented as independent editorial evidence.
Safety, consent and responsible operations
We do not publish advice for evading moderation, fabricating engagement, scraping private data or deceiving subscribers about automated or delegated interactions. Guidance about messaging and delegation emphasizes creator responsibility, consent, privacy, boundaries and documented quality control.
